Free Hearing Aids Distribution Under ADIP Scheme

In partnership with the Government of Odisha's ADIP (Assistance to Disabled Persons) scheme, Purnaang Foundation provides free digital hearing aids to hearing impaired children from low-income families who hold ration cards. We have successfully fitted over 10,000 hearing aids, giving the gift of sound to thousands of children.

Children from BPL families with valid ration cards receive priority access to free hearing aids

Purnaang Foundation conducts regular screening and diagnostic camps in remote areas and low-income neighborhoods, including the Salia Sahi slum area in Bhubaneswar. Our mobile screening units bring advanced diagnostic equipment directly to communities that lack access to healthcare facilities.

Free Nutritional Support for Children

Understanding that proper nutrition is essential for child development and therapy effectiveness, Purnaang Foundation provides free meals to children attending our day care center. This program ensures that no child goes hungry while receiving critical therapy services, particularly benefiting children from extremely low-income families in the Salia Sahi area.

For children with profound hearing loss who cannot benefit from hearing aids, Purnaang Foundation facilitates referrals to premier medical institutions including AIIMS Bhubaneswar and SCB Medical College & Hospital, Cuttack for cochlear implantation surgery. We guide families through the entire process from assessment to post-surgical rehabilitation.
